About Cynthia Jaimes

Cynthia graduated Cum Laude from Texas A&M University where she earned a degree in Political Science.  There, she also perfected her first language by minoring in Spanish.  Raised by an immigrant mother, Cynthia understood at an early age how difficult and frustrating it can be to navigate your way through the immigration legal system.  As Cynthia grew older, her mother needed her help with her immigration process, and Cynthia’s experience assisting her own mother opened her eyes to the complexities of the law and the immigration system in the U.S.  It was a combination of this experience and her long-held interest in law, as well as her natural inclination to help others, that led her to a career as a paralegal at Sparks Law.

Cynthia has been a key part of the Sparks Law team for over 3 years. She specializes in complex waivers of grounds of inadmissibility, U visas, and adjustment of status cases.  Everything she does at work is in support of our clients and their futures, and she finds much joy in seeing her diligent efforts change others’ lives for the better. Outside of work, Cynthia enjoys being outdoors, reading, baking, and spending time with her little girl. Her careful attention to every detail, her calm and patient nature, and her personal understanding of the immigrant experience makes her an absolutely essential team member at Sparks Law.
