About Elizabeth Mora Macedo

Elizabeth Mora Macedo graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Global Studies. Her academic journey included an enriching study abroad experience at Uppsala University in Sweden that sparked her interest in international security and expanded her global perspective. She pursued her interests further by moving to Madrid, Spain, where she worked as an Assistant Teacher through Madrid Community. During her time in Spain, she collaborated with local educators to implement ESL lessons and facilitate inclusive activities for students, honing her bilingual skills and deepening her understanding of diverse cultures. These experiences have uniquely prepared her for her role as a paralegal at J. Sparks Law.

In her current position as a paralegal, Elizabeth is dedicated to helping the immigrant community by providing invaluable support to them and their families. Her fluency in Spanish allows her to effectively communicate with clients and assist them in navigating the complexities of the immigration process. Elizabeth’s passion for immigration is driven by her own personal experience; she understands what immigrant families go through and how the fear of being separated from their loved ones can have an effect on the entire family. She is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of these families. Furthermore, Elizabeth finds great satisfaction in her work, knowing that each work permit and visa she helps secure can be life-changing for her clients.

Outside of her professional life, Elizabeth enjoys reading and going on hikes with her dog, Goose, and finding balance and inspiration in her personal interests. She hopes to keep traveling and falling in love with new countries, beautiful landscapes, food, music, and people.
